Texas Southern University & University of Houston Work Together to Provide Patient Care

The TSU SNPhA Chapter hosted a Chapter Achievement Partners (CAPs) event in collaboration with the University of Houston. The two chapters worked together to provide direct patient care at the Health and Wellness Fair at Riceville Baptist church. They served the members of the church by providing screenings for blood pressure and blood glucose. SNPhA members educated patients on ways to change their diet to help lower their blood pressure and blood glucose. This included how to portion their meals so that they are balanced in accordance with the American Diabetes Association. Keep up the great work TSU and UH!
