Serena Clark, PharmD, MBA
Dr. Serena Clark graduated from Samford University’s McWhorter School of Pharmacy in May 2019. She is currently a PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident at the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital located in Tampa, Florida where she also serves as a Professional Development Subcommittee member on the Federal Resident Council (FedReC) for VA and IHS residents. The Atlanta, Georgia native is currently interested in Ambulatory Care, Management and serving the underserved communities within the pharmacy field.
Her passion for pharmacy came at an early age and has since been the focus of her academic journey. Serena first became involved with SNPhA as an undergraduate student where she participated in health events and community service projects. The organization’s mission of serving the underserved was apparent immediately and she knew she wanted to remain active in SNPhA as she began her pharmacy school journey at Samford University. At Samford, she served as her SNPhA’s chapter Smoking Cessation Chair and Chapter President prior to serving on the 2018-2019 SNPhA National Board as the Region V Facilitator.
Serena is ecstatic to be able to continue to serve SNPhA as an Executive Consultant for the 2019-2020 National Board. It is with hopes that her diverse experience with SNPhA on the local and national levels can help lead the current board and membership. She looks forward to encouraging all SNPhA members to discover their VISION TODAY in order to serve OUR L.E.G.A.C.Y. TOMORROW.
