Region V Facilitator
Audrian Santos is a PharmD candidate, Class of 2021 at Washington State University (WSU) in Spokane, WA. He is originally from the Philippines but raised in San Diego, California; earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology from San Diego State University. After graduation, he worked for numerous pharmaceutical companies for three years but felt the need to continue his education for career advancement.
Since starting pharmacy school, Audrian has taken on a number of leadership roles within various organizations. He was the Worthy Alumni Liaison and Brothers for Life National Committee member for the Phi Delta Chi fraternity. Also, he was a Washington State University ambassador and orientation leader. His most notable leadership experience is being the WSU chapter-Student National Pharmaceutical Association (WSU-SNPhA), where his goal is for students to find their passion in serving the community.
Audrian has always had the affinity to helping the underserved. In 2016, he created and started a go fund page, alongside his sister, in order to sponsor an elementary school in a rural, underserved community in the Philippines. They managed to crowdfund $1,200! With that money, they purchased slippers, school supplies (and a Christmas party) for over 500 students at the school. His life goal is to create a non-profit organization in the Philippines and continue to give opportunities and better ways of life to children in rural areas.
Audrian appreciates the support from his friends and family. He is ecstatic to serve as the 2020-2021 SNPhA Region V facilitator. He is grateful and honored to continue his involvement to an amazing organization. As he continues this journey, he will always bear in mind one of SNPhA’s goals: Serving the Underserved.
