Chronic Kidney Disease Chair
Elizabeth Ojo is a fourth year pharmacy student at the University of Georgia. She has been involved with SNPhA for many years, and has served as her chapter’s Chronic Kidney Disease Chair and Vice President. She has also served as a member of the National Chronic Kidney Disease Subcommittee. Outside of SNPhA, Elizabeth is an active member of ACCP and IPhO and works as a pharmacy intern at CVS Health.
Elizabeth is incredibly excited to serve as the next Chronic Kidney Disease Chair. Since her mother became a dialysis nurse 8 years ago, Elizabeth discovered a passion for promoting kidney health. She is looking forward to working with other initiative chairs to bring Chronic Kidney Disease to the spotlight and erase the stigma associated with organ donation. Elizabeth looks forward to a challenge, and is excited to execute the presidential theme of Connecting the P.I.E.C.E.S. to the best of her ability.
In her spare time, Elizabeth volunteers with her church to mentor middle school and high school students in her community. She teaches her students the importance of a formal education, making a SMART plan, and setting fulfilling personal goals. Elizabeth is an avid cyclist, and her favorite trail is The Silver Comet in Atlanta, Ga. She also enjoys listening to podcasts, cooking, and staying up to date with the latest pharmacy news.
