Wonu attended Temple University for her undergraduate career where she later received a bachelor’s degree in biology along with a minor in Psychology. Attending Temple University has taught Wonu the importance of working and given back to the community.

Since joining the Touro family Wonu has taken an active leadership role in her College. She was the previous treasurer of her local Student National Pharmaceutical Association chapter (SNPhA) as well as the chronic kidney disease chair. Wonu is currently the Vice Regent of Kappa Psi fraternity, Zeta Zeta chapter as well as a student ambassador for her College. Wonu is excited about her newly appointed role as the Region V facilitator. During her time at Touro College, Wonu has also served and participated in many different organizations. She is an active member of the Student Societies of Health System Pharmacy (SSHP), and the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists. Wonu is currently a Pharmacy Intern at New York Presbyterian Hospital Columbia campus in NY. In her spare time she loves to read, travel, and spend time with her love ones.

Wonu is very grateful and honored to serve as the Region V facilitator and has several goals she wishes to accomplish this year. Her goals include having open communication with her region and providing several different options for members to contact her at any time. She also plans to help facilitate and coordinate more inter-collaboration between the Universities in the SNPhA community. Lastly, Wonu wants to promote building strong relationships with other healthcare professionals.  Wonu cannot wait to work with the SNPhA family this year to make a difference both locally and nationally.  Let’s work together to stabilize our foundation to solidify our future.
