Region III Facilitator

Bryan is a 3rd year Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) candidate at St. Louis College of Pharmacy. Prior to pharmacy school, Bryan attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry and minor in Mathematics. While matriculating through Morehouse, he was able to charter pharmacy as being an official part of the Health Careers Society as well as being granted the privilege to become a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Originally born and raised in Birmingham, AL, his southern roots have kept him grounded, but never limited him to new opportunities for advancement. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, fitness, traveling, good food and even better company.

In the short time at STLCOP, he has made a mark in becoming a member of the first and oldest pharmaceutical fraternity, Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Inc., serving as the 2013 membership intake coordinator as well as the chapter delegate and public relations liaison for the Student National Pharmaceutical Association. For the 2014 summer, Bryan was selected as 1 of 2 pharmacy interns for the Target internship within the St. Louis, MO market and will continue upon an externship throughout the school year.

Bryan’s relationship with SNPhA extends back 5 years ago being introduced as an affiliate member while still at Morehouse through a pharmacy mentor. He was able to attend a regional conference held in Atlanta volunteering under the Atlanta NPhA chapter and never turned back.

As the newly appointed Region III Facilitator, Bryan intends to provide a backbone for chapters to deliver collaborative efforts in route to a stable foundation in efforts to solidify the future of SNPhA. His goals for this year are to create a bridge of communication between chapters to easily carry out SNPhA initiatives, motivate and inspire each chapter to extend beyond their campuses to touch the lives of individuals in underserved communities, cultivate more social media promotion of each chapter’s events and accomplishments and establish continued growth by chartering yet another chapter back into the Region III family. As an advocate for scholarship, service and manly deeds, Bryan continues to embody these principles each and every day in an effort that it might encourage others to do the same.
