Samantha Adams

Corresponding Secretary

Dr. Samantha Adams attended the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy where she received her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree.  Samantha was born and raised in Memphis, TN where she also received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Memphis.  Samantha first became involved with SNPhA during her second year of pharmacy school serving as treasurer/fundraising chair for her Chapter.  Samantha is a member of Phi Lambda Sigma and the immediate past president of Rho Chi. She is also a proud brother of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity. In addition to participating in pharmacy organizations, Samantha frequently volunteers for the Alpha Epsilon Delta pre-health honor society at the University of Memphis where she mentors pre-pharmacy students.

During her free time, Samantha attends Memphis Grizzlies and University of Memphis basketball games.  Samantha likes various active outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, and kayaking.  She also enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and shopping. Upon graduation, Samantha hopes to obtain a PGY1 residency at a healthcare institution with an integrated ambulatory care and in-patient setting that also provides practice opportunities and clinical teaching with affiliated pharmacy schools.

Samantha is honored and grateful to serve as your past National Operation Immunization Chair.   While holding this position, she established the first national collaborative event with Shot@Life World Polio Day.  She is extremely excited to see this partnership develop further and to work with the new Operation Immunization Chair.  Being on the executive board was the most extraordinary year as a student pharmacist for Samantha.  Samantha is thrilled to return this year as the National Corresponding Secretary.  In this new position, Samantha plans to further expand and define the role of corresponding secretary.  In addition, she hopes to establish a national fundraiser to support SNPhA scholarships and awards.  Samantha is excited about her new role on the executive board and looks forward to collaborating with all the new national officers.
